Join us for our summer finale! Portland Symphony Orchestra’s woodwind quintet will present Peter and the Wolf at 6:30 pm tonight. What happens when Peter and his friends come face-to-face with the big bad wolf? Find out, in Portland Symphony’s portrayal of Peter’s adventures with his favorite friends — a bird, a cat, and a duck — in an adaptation of Sergei Prokofiev’s beloved musical tale! Hear different instruments become the voice of different animals! A fun night for all ages.
We’ll draw the raffle winners for the Children’s Summer Reading Program before the show. Winners get to choose a gift certificate from: Arundel Ice Cream, Berry’d Treasures, Kennebunk House of Pizza, Poofberry’s and Toppings Restaurant. Thank you to these fine local businesses for supporting our Summer Reading Program!
We’ll be outside, weather permitting, next door at the Unitarian Universalist Church if necessary. Open to everyone!
