Mo Willems is the new Dr. Seuss in my opinion!  His books for beginning readers combine minimum words with funny illustrations that help kids decipher the words.  And the stories are hilarious–which is a difficult feat when you only use 50 words!  Then there is the Pigeon, who breaks the “fourth wall,” and tries to persuade the reader/listener to let him drive the bus!  And most parents have experienced the trauma of a lost favorite toy, which Willems’ immortalizes in his Knuffle Bunny books.  We love these books, and recommend them frequently!

We’ll be celebrating all of these stories and more, with games and crafts!  Please let us know you are coming so we have enough materials.  Pre-register with the Children’s Room at 985-2173 x-5 or email us.
