The Kennebunk Free Library and Rye Airfield are partnering together to offer a reading incentive program for school age kids in the community.  Rye Airfield is a premier skatepark and BMX track located in Rye, New Hampshire.  The basic premise of Read to Ride is to encourage reading among school age kids.  After reading five books, students receive an all day pass to Rye Airfield.  For each book read, the reader will choose one of three options: write a book review of 1-2 paragraphs, provide a brief oral report to the Teen Librarian, or draw a picture of the book they have read.  Once the reader earns  five stamps they receive an all day pass to Rye Airfield (value of $33.)   Pick up a tracking sheet at the library and start working towards collecting your five stamps!  For more information, please call 985-2173 x 5 or email ys@kennebunk.lib.me.us
