This week at the KFL.

As winter continues to descend on our fair community, the library continues to be a great place to combat even the worst cases of Season Affective Disorder:

  • On Monday, October 25th, Peek-a-book Babies will begin at 10:15am.
  • Monday afternoon at 3:30, the Teen Advisory Board will have their monthly meeting.
  • This month’s Teen Movie Night is also on Monday.  We’re screening a movie about a guy named Darren Shan (Chris Massoglia) who becomes a vampire’s (John C. Reilly) assistant.  It came out in 2009 and is rated PG-13.  As always, free pizza will be served and the movie will begin promptly at 5:45pm.
  • On Tuesday at 10:15am, come on in for Family Storytime!
  • Page Turners, our middle school book group, will meet on Tuesday at  3:30pm.
  • On Tuesday, our Board of Trustees will assemble for their monthly meeting at 7pm.  Board meetings are open to the public.
  • Page Pals, our book group for fourth and fifth-graders, will meet on Wednesday, October 27th at 4:00pm.
  • Trivia Night is also on Wednesday, beginning at 6:30.  As always, the competition will be fast and furious and the treats will be abundant!
  • Time for 2s and 3s continues on Thursday, October 28th, at 10:15am.
  • Our Adult Book Discussion Group will meet on Thursday, at 11:15am, for a conversation about Elie Wiesel’s Night.
  • And as usual, our Teen Gaming Club will meet Friday at 3pm.
