This week at the KFL.

Busy, busy, busy!

  • On Monday, September 27th, Peek-a-book Babies will begin at 10:15am.
  • A meeting of the Teen Advisory Board will take place on Monday, from 3:30-4:30pm.
  • This month’s Teen Movie Night is also on Monday, September 27th.   We’re screening a movie about a guy (Matthew Perry) gets a chance to be 17 (Zak Efron) again.  It came out in 2009 and is rated PG-13.  As always, free pizza will be served and the movie will begin promptly at 5:45pm.
  • On Tuesday at 10:15am, come on in for Family Storytime!
  • The fall session of Page Turners, our middle school book group, begins on Tuesday at  3:30pm. They’ll be discussing Todd Strasser’s Confidence.
  • On Tuesday, our Board of Trustees will assemble for their monthly meeting at 7pm.  Board meetings are open to the public.
  • Fourth and fifth-graders will want to swing by the library on Wednesday, September 29th at 4:00pm for a Page Pals book group meet-and-greet, and to receive copies of Richard Peck’s Fair Weather.
  • Trivia Night is on Wednesday, September 29th, beginning at 6:30.  As always, the competition will be fast and furious and the treats will be abundant!
  • Time for 2s and 3s continues on Thursday, September 30th, at 10:15am.
  • Later on Thursday, the KFL is hosting Karen Pierce-Stewart, who will give a talk on How To Support Someone with Cancer. It begins at 1:00pm.
  • As usual, our Teen Gaming Club will meet Friday at 3pm.
  • And on Saturday, October 2, there will be a free genealogy workshop from 10am until noon.
