This week’s programs.

Our busy summer programming schedule has finally slowed down!  The Children’s Summer Reading Program continues, though, and there are a few other items to mention:

  • On Tuesday, August 10th at 11:30am, we’ll hold Teddy Bear’s Picnic on the lawn (weather permitting).  That all-ages program runs every Tuesday at the same time through next Tuesday.
  • Tuesday evening at 6:30pm, homeschooling mothers Bonnie Kremser and Lisa Crothers will lead an informational session about homeschooling.
  • Wednesday afternoon, from 1:30-2:30, teens are encouraged to swing on by to make their own hackysacks!  Pre-registration is required for this program.
  • Thursday morning at 10:30am, we’ll hold our second-to-last meeting of Rhyme Time.  That program is for all ages.
  • On Friday, our Teen Gaming Club will meet as usual at 3pm.
  • Lastly, a reminder:  Our summer hours are in effect, so we’ll be closing at 1pm on Saturday, rather than 5pm.

If you’d like to receive email reminders about our programming, hop on over to our website to sign up — and please, do feel free to call the library at 985.2173 with any questions!
